Valentine’s Day is on its way, and you’re wondering what you could do in Montreal? Due to the current health crisis, the Quebec government imposed a mandatory curfew in most regions and limited restaurants’ activities to only delivery and pick-up services. Despite this situation, there are still plenty of fun things that you could do this year. Here are five things to do in Montreal during this celebration of love.

1. Breakfast In Bed
Start your day with a romantic breakfast in bed with your partner. You could order some food from your favourite restaurants, or perhaps stay in your PJs and get cooking with your other half.

2. A Romantic Hike
Head to your nearest winter trail, and enjoy a beautiful walk under the snow with a magical view. Not in the mood for a hike? Montreal has plenty of beautiful spots, such as the Lachine Canal, Angrignon Park, and the Old Port, where you could have a nice walk while holding hands and enjoying the scenery.

3.Have Fun With Winter Sports
As Montreal is expecting snow this Sunday, there are plenty of fun winter sports you could do. This is the opportunity to lace your ice skates up, put some skis on, snowboard or have fun sliding on snow.

4. A Candle Light Dinner
Support local restaurants by ordering your favourite meal, you could pair it with a nice glass of wine, add a few candles, and watch a romantic movie with your loved one.

5. Offer A Thoughtful Gift To Your Partner
Some couples are not a fan of gift-giving during this day, if it is your case, you could remind your valentine of how much you love them by writing a beautiful love note. For those that want to spoil their valentine, flowers and chocolates remain a classic option.
