5 movies you don’t want to miss this holiday season
1. Last Christmas
This theatre release is a nice spin on Holiday romance movies. Set in London, it follows Kate (Emilia Clarke) as she tries to turn her life around. She then meets Tom (Henry Golding), and we see their romance blossom with the Holiday season as its frame.
2. Holiday in the wild (Netflix)
After her husband ends their marriage, Kate (Kristin Davis) decides to still go on a trip she planned as their second honeymoon to Zambia. There, she meets pilot and wildlife conservationist Derek (Rob Lowe). The movie follows their complicated romance, across countries.
3. Noelle (Disney +)
Anna Kendrick stars as Noelle Kringle. After her brother, who’s in training to take over for their father Santa’s duties, disappears, she takes in on to herself to find him. The movie follows her wild chase in the “real world” to find him and bring him back to the North Pole in time for Christmas.
4. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby (Netflix)
The third yearly installment of Netflix’s rom-com follows the royal couple of Aldovia as they’re excepting their first child. While getting ready for the arrival of their firstborn, they have to track down a missing treaty.
5. Let it snow (Netflix)
This plot combines essentials elements of a good Christmas romance: a small-town setting and a snowstorm that paralyzes plans. It follows many storylines that end up being intertwined.
