With spring right around the corner, and social distancing still in effect, our days might start to seem longer with social activity to get to. We rounded up five of the hottest books to keep you entertained during your downtime.
1. In Five Years
This novel will be a guaranteed page-turner for love story fans. In her latest book, Rebecca Serle explores the notion of a five-year plan, through Danni Cohan’s seemingly perfectly planned out life. 3. The wives
If you’re looking for a good thriller, the plot of The Wives is sure to keep you on your toes. After finding out the truth about her husband’s other wives, Thursday starts to question the arrangement she has entered in and goes on a quest to uncover the truth about the man she married and the other two women.
4. Nine perfect strangers
From the author that brought us Big Little Lies, this novel takes place at a health resort where nine strangers find themselves for various reasons. Soon, these nine individuals (and their secrets) realize that this retreat will be more challenging than they planned.
5. Little Fires Everywhere
If you are looking for a good read that has been adapted into a tv series, Celeste Ng’s Little Fires Everywhere is a great novel to dive in to. Set in a suburban town in the 90’s, it revolves around Elena Richardson and Mia Warren’s lives. After Mia and her daughter Pearl move to town, they become Elena’s tenants and Pearl befriends the Richardson children. As their lives become more and more intertwined, Elena researches Mia’s past and digs some secrets.
