During this pandemic period, we must stay home and practice social distance, but it can be hard to keep busy. Although staying home can get boring, there are plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained like reading a book or binge-watching a brand new tv show. We already shared with you our top 5 books to stay busy during this quarantine, here is our top 5 tv shows to watch.

1. Money heist or “la casa de papel”
Since the release of the 4th part of this Netflix’s show earlier this month, this Spanish heist crime drama has not stopped trending. In fact, Money heist or “la casa de papel” is Netflix’s most-in-demand tv show at the moment. Produced originally by Antena 3, the first season seemed destined to flop, dropping to 4.5 million viewers to almost half of it by the end of the season. It wasn’t until Netflix bought the show that it has reached a peak of popularity. The show involves “The Professor”, a group of thieves and their plan to pull the biggest heist in history.

2. Unorthodox
Netflix’s unorthodox is one of the trendiest tv shows at the moment. Unorthodox is the network’s first tv show in Yiddish. It’s based on the true story based in the memoir “Unorthodox: The scandalous rejection of my hassidic roots” written by Deborah Feldman. Written by Anna Winger and Alexa Karolinsky, it follows the story of Esty, a young Jewish woman who decides to leave her hassidic community, in New York, to avoid an arranged marriage.

3. Mrs. America
Written by Davhi Waller, Hulu’s newest tv show is a clear success. It might have aired only 2 days ago, but it is already the most popular show on TV according to Rotten Tomato. Set in the 1970’s this brand new show follows the true story of the women’s liberation movement. It showcases their fight to pass the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) and the opposition to it, led by anti-feminist conservative woman Phyllis Schlafy, played by Cate Blanchet.

4. Little fires everywhere
Labelled the next “Big little lies”, this Hulu tv show is based on Celeste Ng’s book by the same name. Little fires Everywhere follows Elena Richardson (Reese Witherspoon) and Mia Warren (Kerry Washington) as their lives intertwine with one another.

5. Ozark
This popular Netflix drama series released its third season on March 27th. If you did not start this show yet, it’s time to binge-watch it! Set at Lake of the Ozarks, it follows financial planner Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) while he is on the run due to a money-laundering scheme that has gone wrong. His wife, two kids and him move from Chicago to the Ozarks.
